Thank you to the businesses opposed to SB 1062

Yesterday, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer vetoed SB 1062, the so-called religious freedom bill. SB 1062 would have provided a license to legally discriminate based on religious convictions, leaving all LGBT people unprotected in our state. Nationwide, businesses voiced their opposition to the divisive bill, and the pressure led the Governor to do the right thing for Arizona and veto the bill.

Major employers such as the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee, the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Apple, JPMorgan Chase and over 100+ smaller businesses stood up for equality for all Arizonans. Because of their support and the support of our community members and lawmakers, SB 1062 is no longer.

We want to take a moment to thank all of the businesses that took a stand against SB 1062. CLICK HERE now to sign the thank you letter.

We know that momentum is on our side — and it is up to us to keep moving forward in Arizona. It is time for all Arizona families to be protected and respected in our state. By moving marriage forward, we can work to ensure that freedom means freedom for everyone in our state.
